Introduction – Coto Japanese Club, Azabu Juban
Since 2000, the Coto Language Academy team has helped thousands of students achieve their dream of speaking Japanese. Throughout the years – many students have encouraged us to open a second location in Minato-Ku – it is with great excitement that we announce the opening of Coto Japanese Club in Azabu-Juban.
Our goal is not to teach our students”perfect” Japanese, but to give our students the language skills that they need to live easily and care-free while functioning well in Japan on a day-to-day basis.
We aim to make your life in Japan more meaningful by practical original content made for consumers, abundant cultural activities and events that you can experience more deeply in Japan.

At Coto Japanese Club – we have one simple goal: we want students to enjoy their lives in Japan to the fullest – through having a rich and functional Japanese skillset. All of the classes that we offer are designed to create a fun casual learning environment that focuses on language you actually need.
Our Story:
Our original company, ILS (Iidabashi Language School), was founded in 2000 by four professional Japanese language teachers committed to volunteer teaching. We wanted to help students learn to enjoy life. That same vision and mission continues today as we continue to grow and expand.
